The educational goal of this project is to get Virginia's next generation of leaders thinking about issues of livability.

These resources are available to educators:

1. An online lesson that introduces the concept of livability
2. The Livable Communities exhibit itself
3. Model lesson plans that integrate livability issues into the core curriculum

The lesson plans are correlated to the Virginia Standards of Learning and include all necessary resources and materials. They were designed for students in grades four through six, but teachers could adjust them for middle and high school students with little difficulty.
