What is a livable community?
Livable Communities for Virginia is a project dedicated to answering this question and to exploring how the principles of livability apply to the diverse cities, towns, and villages in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Livable Communities for Virginia was produced by the Virginia Center for Architecture as a public service project to recognize the 150th anniversary of the American Institute of Architects. Financial support for the exhibition and related educational material was provided by the Virginia Society of the AIA and an AIA 150 Blueprint for America Grant.
